We are indebted to all who have made this possible. Our Farm to School program has developed each year and its successes can be attributed to a team effort involving countless local farmers and chefs, our district food director and cafeteria workers, support from Princeton University, parent volunteers and an incredible staff led by our STEM facilitator, Mrs. Corveleyn.
Our 9th Annual Farm to School event featured local chefs and farmers who led demonstrations and tastings in and around our garden area. Special thanks to this year’s participants - Double Brook Farm, Fulper Family Farmstead, Morganics, The Blue Bottle Cafe, Emily’s Cafe, and our district food provider, Pomptonian. We also appreciate the large number of special guests present from the Farm to School Network, Department of Agriculture, local politicians and university professors, central administrators and Board of Education members, including our president, Ms. Alyce Murray and school representative, Ms. Susan Pollara. Our guests were treated to a tour of our indoor hydroponics vertical farm and outdoor raised garden beds.

Our sincere thanks for your continued support as we strive to nurture the whole child by embracing sustainability, providing nutritious options in our cafeteria, and offering authentic STEM experiences to our students at Hopewell Elementary School.
